What to wear for New Year’s Eve: find out which frocks rock for the biggest party of the year

ITS potentially one of the biggest fashion headaches of the year what to wear for that New Years Eve party. Short or long? Black or vibrantly coloured? And will you ever get the right shoes to match?

So, in the spirit of being nosey – and trying to research a few ideas for ourselves Real asked a group of party-goers from Liverpool solicitors Brown Turner Ross what they had chosen for their own big nights out and why.

Usha Sharma is a 37-year-old solicitor specialising in property for Brown Turner Ross.

She lives in Southport with her husband Mak and their three sons, Rajan, Kabir and Naveen.

What shes wearing: Lola lace over the knee dress from Phase Eight, nude shoes from KG and a bag from LK Bennett.

Why she chose the outfit: The dress was an absolutely perfect fit and it made me feel great – sassy and ready for dancing the night away on New Years Eve.

Tracey Clarke is a 45-year-old accounts manager.

She lives in Wallasey with husband Peter and their two teenage sons.

What shes wearing: A maxi dress from Phase Eight and bag LK Bennett.

Why she chose the outfit: I saw the dress and loved its flattering shape.

“The drape of the fabric is just lovely.

“Its ideal for a New Year party as it doesn’t crease and its really comfortable to wear.”
