The celebration spirit got to me! Finally! I found these two lovely dresses today I absolutely want you to see! I paired them with some shoes too, but you know, it’s up to you – all the styling liberty to mix and match, to change up, dress up or down a certain garment.
I’m always for the dress down, but every now and then, I have to trade my comfy jeans converse for a dress and high heels. And, although you may think different, I love the dress situation! Take these two beauties here: one of them is alarmingly similar to one of the dresses I wore for my wedding. I guess you can technically call it “wedding dress”, even if it’s more unconventional.
I read this article today about a Laguna Beach doctor who is close to finalizing a laser surgery that could permanently change brown eye color to blue. The laser is tuned to remove pigment from the surface of the iris, which reveals blue underneath.
Im already a little freaked out by a lot of eye-related trends—surgery to give you eyelids, pupil-enlarging contacts and colored contacts, to name a few. One of the things that bugged me the most about Memoirs of a Geisha was the geishas blue eyes. What?? How many blue-eyed Japanese women do you see walking around? I know an Indian girl who wears blue contacts, and while it is a striking look for her, its clearly not a part of who she is. W

I crave simplicity, yet, recognize that Im way too OCD to actually achieve that on most days. For example, take my nightly cleansing routine. I absolutely MUST get every trace of makeup off. I use an eye makeup remover, a cleansing oil or lotion, followed by my Clarisonic + face wash and a post facial mist or hydrating water pre-serum/moisturizer/etc. Its more time intensive than perhaps it needs to be, but I dig my rituals. Except when I want to be simple. Which is where Weledas Gentle Cleansing Milk enters the picture and gives me exactly what I need.
Cleansing Milks have always been one of those good in theory products for me, but always seemed to fall short in practice.
